Owners Statement: My name is Ken Heggem and I am one of the the owners and sole distributor of the PartBase PRO software program.
PartBase was an idea 12 years ago when a burning desire to find and/or develop a software program exclusively for the Electronics
Industry. The business of selling electronic parts needed a software program where as a distributor could track his inventory, have
sales history, show availabilities, and keep track of his customers. So over the past 12 years Bay Area Computer took on the task
of doing just that. We formed a separate company to develop, market and sell the PartBase program. PartBase users are world wide.
The name PartBase is known through-out the Electronics Industry.
My story is the same as it is with Bay Area Computer: At 54 years I am ready to move on to whatever is ahead for me. I wish to
hand over PartBase to a deserving individual and/or company ready to take on a career in the software sales to the Electronics Industry.
PartBase started out in DOS, then various versions in windows 3.1, and in 1998 we started
development of a major upgrade to meet the Y2K requirements and to leap-frog it into the next generation of high end database
developments. Over the past 12 years we have invested over $500,000 in research, programming, development, updates, training,
and web design. That's where we are today. The question now is, who is going to take this tiger by the tail and run with it???
