Bay Area Computer Products wants you to be completely satisfied with every purchase.
Thus, if you need to return parts:
  1. Read our terms and conditions below to be certain you meet the returns requirements.
  2. Refunds, credits, or product replacement takes approximately 15 to 30 business days, after receipt of returned product. We will confirm all information and inform you of our findings.
  3. ABSOLUTELY NO RMA'S ACCEPTED BEYOND 30 DAYS,
  4. We must be advised of shipment errors with-in 2-days, i.e. wrong part numbers, date codes, package damage, pulled parts sold as new, etc. Parts will be replaced, shipped at Bay Area Computer expense. (No Refunds unless we do not have replacement stock)
  5. If all of the above are with-in terms, fill out this form and fax us. After receipt of this form, if we find your request to be possible, you will be advised of our UPS account number. Upon receipt of the parts, we will begin the process, approx 20 business days later we will advise you of our findings and replace the parts/refund your part cost/return the parts/ or issue your company a credit for future purchases. Your 1st step is to complete this RMA request and fax to us. We will be in contact via fax to you shortly thereafter.
  6. Very Important: Be sure to provide us with the independent testing companies information. Testing paper work showing test results, min manufactures failure limits, the part testing results, there name address, phone, lab tech name, etc. (cannot be tested by your customer or yourself, must be an independent lab. This is a non refundable cost)

All sales are final.
  If an exception is made, a 25% restocking fee will apply plus shipping charges .

Bay Area Computer Products warrants its products to be free from electronic defects or faulty workmanship for thirty (30) days from the invoice date unless otherwise stated on the invoice.  Any claims for electronic defects must include test report from a USA company. 

Bay Area Computer Products does not accept returns for pulled or refurbished product because it does not "look good".  Be advised when you are purchasing "used product". Scratches, residue solder, leads not at original length, bent/deformed leads, parts may be programmed, or other external imperfections etc. will not be accepted as a reason for return.  Part condition will be disclosed verbally prior to shipment and/or noted on your invoice. All parts are guaranteed to meet the manufacturer's minimum specifications.  Pulls with trimmed leads are guaranteed to be able to put  into a socket.  We QC all parts prior to shipment. If any product is not up to socket able standards, they will not be included in your shipment. Pulled/used product can be shipped in anti static bags and/or tubes, trays, etc. Click here to read an explanation of pulled product.

Any claims for shipment errors must be made within two (2) days of receipt. All valid claims must be issued an RMA number within thirty (30) days from the invoice date or within the warranty date issued on the invoice. Bay Area Computer Products reserves the right to issue: 1.) replacement 2.) credit for future purchase. or 3.) cash refund.  NO RMA'S BEYOND 30 DAYS, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT FORM IF BEYOND 30 DAYS, AN RMA NUMBER WILL NOT BE ASSIGNED, SHIPMENT WILL BE REFUSED AND/OR RETURNED

All RMA items must be returned in their original packaging and condition within 10 days of issuance of the RMA number. Beyond 10 days the RMA will have expired and the shipment will be refused.  BAY AREA COMPUTER PRODUCT WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY C.O.D. RETURNS  Any product returned without an RMA number will be refused. Allow a minimum of 10 to 15 business days for replacement of product, if we have no more stock, a credit, will be applied to a future purchase.

Explanation of Pulled Product

socket pulls =  product pulled from PC board socket, no solder on leads. Leads are full length. We will straighten bent leads. Surface scratches or imperfections may be apparent. Parts will not be erased and may be programmed

solder pulls =  product de-soldered from PC boards. Product has not been refurbished. Residue solder may be on leads. Solder bridging between leads may occur. Surface scratches or imperfections may be apparent. Parts will not be erased and may be programmed

solder pulls with trimmed leads = product de-soldered from PC boards. A portion of the lead has been trimmed off. Product has not been refurbished. Residue solder may be on leads. Solder bridging between leads may occur. Surface scratches or imperfections may be apparent. Product guaranteed to be able to be inserted into a socket. Parts will not be erased and may be programmed

Refurbished = used/pulled product that will be in a condition as close to new as possible. All the above explanations still apply, but more work/labor is involved to bring condition of product to be the best we can do, given the condition we receive the product in the 1st place.  This is still used product and should be considered so in your purchase. Upon request we will explain visual appearance and include on invoice. Return conditions as explained above still apply.
